Been a while, sorry.

It’s been a while, but I’m still at it.  I heard one of my fellow painter tell a demo crowd on the subject of painting success  that  “. . . it get easier after twenty-five years”.    I guess I agree with that, although twenty-five years of painting also has it’s own issues.  I just work with the thought that I can’t afford the luxury of only painting when I’m inspired.  Most of the time inspiration only occurs after the painting has started.  So press on.

Two weeks ago I participated in the Canaveral Paint Out for the fifth straight year.   I had a great time.  Stayed in a nice condo on the beach.  Got up in the morning and walked out on the beach to paint sunrises.  Got to learn a bunch from some really good painters.  Sign me up again.  I love the event.

This weekend I’m back on the art festival trail.  I’m at Ocala Art Festival in downtown Ocala.  I’ve been wanting to try this event for a while.    I have a lot images from Marion County and I’m looking forward to showing them off.  Hopefully, some of them will find new homes.  If you are in the area, I’m in booth 78 which is near Harry’s Restaurant.  Hope to see you there.  The weather report looks fabulous.  What else do you have to do.
